    According to section 21 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA), everyone providing a service to the public is required to take reasonable steps to provide access for blind and partially-sighted people. That might sound complicated – but for most businesses, it is merely a matter of offering published materials, such as leaflets and magazines, in a variety of alternative formats. The most readily-accessible of alternative formats is known as audio transcription.
