Stop! Stop following others blindly in doing Yoga. Do you know that it may kill you? It seems to me that Yoga can solve every single health issue. Yes, it is true that your hairdresser, your next door neighbour, the girl next door or even the desperate housewife lives across your house are all doing Yoga This does not surprise me as Yoga does give lots of health benefits. The only way to live happily and healthily, Yoga is believed by many the way to achieve the happy and healthy lifestyle. These are all spot-on, only if you appreciate the dangers and pitfalls of Yoga and the true secrets of practising Yoga in the correct order! See, a lot of teachers do not tell you that there are wrong ways of doing Yoga. This is because they themselves may not even know. Right way of learning Yoga energises you and makes you look energetic. The wrong way could cause your blood pressure to rise Why there are some Yogis out there believing that Yoga is an extreme sport? It is actually not. A lot of Yoga gurus are going to tell you that the reason for you to feel pains you are lack of practise? As a matter of fact if anybody who really understands the gist of Yoga, will tell you that there is no such thing as “no pain no gain”. The true essence of Yoga is about reunion with God. That is the realmeaning of Yoga whether you know it or not. Please do stop, when your body asks you to do so during the Yoga lesson.. Warm-up exercises are a must-do, if you want your body to feel comfortable doing Yoga..The whole point of doing Yoga is to be healthy, thus, it is silly to hurt yourself becuase of Yoga. if you can avoid Yoga for the time while you suffer from insomnia, neck pain, or during your menstruating period, it would be better. While you are having babies, use caution when you try to do full boat postion. This Yoga position requires you to be able to balance on the tripod of your sitting bones and tailbone. If you suffer from the neck injury, try to stay away from bridge pose for now. Bridge pose although calms the brains and rejuvenates tired legs, it requires you to lie on the back of your head on the mat with your chest bending upwards and hence giving a lot of strains on your neck! When you have the knee injury, be careful while doing head-to-knee forward bend because you are required to bend your knees while bending forward with your head touching on of your ankles... Remember ok, if you feel pain at your knees, it is time to stop immediately and speak to your teacher. Please stay away from downward-facing-dog position, when you are in the late stages of pregnancy. Use cautions practising this pose when you experience high blood pressure! The pose requires you to come onto the floor on your hands and knees while setting your knees directly underneath your hips and your hands slightly forward of your shoulders. Moreover you need to Spread your palms, index fingers parallel or slightly turned out, and turn your toes under. I can tell you that it is not worth it to even try to put yourself and your conceived baby in the dangerous position if you must stop Yoga. You want to be extremely careful when you suffer from high-blood pressure. If you raise your arms above your head it can be harmful There are a lot of other pitfalls that I can keep telling you, but the point is Yoga can be dangerousif you do not knowwhat you are doing! There is always a correct and incorrect way in doing anything, including Yoga! It is alright to think that you are not perfect but the best, because I know you will keep pursuing the knowledge every single day to make yourself the best! Nobody can know you better than your own body, so listen to it, and when it asks you to stop, stop! Yes, Yoga can get rid of stress! (That is totally correct! As we try to survive between modern life and our animal instincts, we human race strives to find balance in our daily lives, and also in our bodies, our minds and our environment. How can you expect stress to be reduced if your brain keeps thinking all day long? Just as what we established, a yoga practice is an excellent way to ease nerves that are in a constant state of panics. Yoga helps balance out our chronic stress, and thus one must do it! Yoga help relieve your stress only if you understand both the dangerous and beneficial sides of Yoga!
