Calorie Shifting is the practice of inducing your metabolism to burn all the calories it accepts as food, by changing your eating habits and the combinations of foods you eat. Your metabolism can't know what your calorie intake will be tomorrow or the day after, so it burns calories based on your eating habits during the past few days. Your metabolism assumes your eating habits will be the same over the next days to come. In order for these hormones to be manipulated, nutrition changes need to be made. These nutrition changes are the fundamental steps of a Calorie Shifting diet. Fat tissue produced by your body is designed to be burned away as energy used up during your day to day activities. If the volume of Fat Burning Hormones released after every meal however is too low, instead of burning this fat tissue, your body stores it. Calorie Shifting involves rotating the food types and the frequency, to allow the release of the highest percentage of Fat Burning Hormones. By achieving this, you force your body to burn a higher percentage of the calories you eat and minimize the percentage your body stores as fat. Calorie Shifting can cause a repeat weight loss process to happen, without any food deprivation or drastic reduction of calorie intake. The program works in cycles and weight loss occurs on a per cycle basis. This weight loss happens due to the changing percentages at which your body produces Fat Burning and Fat Storing hormones and is a direct result of changing eating habits and patterns. Starting a Calorie Shifting diet forces your body to use up more of the fat deposits it already has stored and also convert more of the food it receives into energy, which is burned as fuel. Calorie Shifting diets have been most effective for those people with a BMI (Body Mass Index) between 26 and 36. This is not a hard and fast rule, as Calorie Shifting, like all other weight loss products, works better for some than others. Individuals in the BMI range of 26 to 36 however, have seen the best results from Calorie Shifting diets.
