Stuffing Envelopes - Is It Safe?

Most people willing to start a work at home business do at least one of two major mistakes. First, they sign a contract with scammers who promise them excellent work opportunity only to cheat them out of their money and/or making them work free of charge. This is much more common than you may think! However, even if one avoids scammers, there is also another pitfall - a business which does not bring regular profits home. Unless you are able to start a business which brings regular, stable profit, working at home may become dangerous to your family finances. Things they never tell you - If you hear a proposition which sounds REALLY interesting, it is probably too good to be true. For instance, if you hear that you get paid $1.50 per each envelope stuffed, this sounds great. You can easily make more than a professional graphic designer simply by stuffing envelopes. Well, there is a catch. First of course, you have to buy a starting kit - this can be quite costly (usually a few hundred dollars for stuff you can make yourself for $10). What is more, and they never tell you that until it is too late, you get paid only for those envelopes whose receivers decide to sign up. In short, you get paid only if the company gets paid. Most of the time it means that all you can hope for is getting paid for a 5-15% of your envelopes. $2 per hour does not sound too well, don't they?

Honesty is the best policy - All honest companies willing to cooperate with you will tell you everything about all details of your cooperation before you sign up or buy anything. Sadly, in case of envelope stuffing you get no information at all - they want you only to buy their starting kit, all the answers can be found there. Unsurprisingly, what they really say in the agreement added to the kit is: "You got it, friend. We cheated you out of your money and now we will cheat you out of your time if you're stupid enough to actually start stuffing our envelopes for $1 an hour."

Ways of doing business - A legitimate company will always give you some warranty of getting paid if you do what you were asked for. No one but scammers will burden you with all the risks! I mean, what does your job really have to do with the conversion rate? You do your job and should get paid for it. Those who should be held responsible for low conversion rate are people who prepared the letters, not those who stuff them into envelopes!

To make a long story short: envelope stuffing is a great way for making money... for those who hire you. You will be sending your money to them, work for them and receive nothing in return. Step away from such ads and look for something better.
