If you've just bought your PSP you are probably concerned about the prices of the games. One alternative to buying games is to download them from websites. You need to be careful however as some sites are illegal while others are legal. Many free sites have proved to be illegal whereas the membership style sites are legal. There are 2 types of membership sites the first requires you to pay a low monthly fee where as the others are single payment sites. You'll find that both types of sites should allow you to download unlimited games and movies from within their database. In order for you to download any games to your PSP from these sites you will first of all need to download them on to your PC or laptop. This is really easy to accomplish as long as you make sure that you have the correct software on your PC or laptop that will allow you to download such games for your PSP. All the membership sites we reviewed provided us with the right software to enable us to download PSP games and movies. The main difference we found was in the quality of the instructions. You can choose to pay monthly which will cost you around $15 per month or you can select a onetime payment which will give you lifetime membership from around $39. Once your payment has been confirmed you are then able to choose the games and movies you want and start to download them. As soon as you have found the games that you are interested in then you can start to download them on to your PC or laptop. A good site will provide its members with easy to follow step by step instructions so that they know exactly what is required in order for them to get the game they have chosen downloaded on to their PC or laptop and then on to their PSP. Once the game has been downloaded on to the PC it is then time to download it to your PSP. Now that you have the files on your PC it's time to transfer them to your PSP. You can do this using 2 simple methods. Either connect your PSP to your PC or laptop via a USB cable and transfer the files directly to the correct folder on your PSP or use a compatible memory stick. To use a memory stick you need to first copy the files from the PC to the memory stick and then place the memory stick into the PSP. If you use the USB method your PSP should show up immediately. You then just need to drag and drop the files to the correct folder. This is by far the easiest method and a child should be able to complete it without any problems. The only problems happen id you have used the wrong file type of transferred the files to the wrong folder. If you haven't downloaded games to your PC before or are not sure how to do it then you should check out the reviews of the different PSP download sites. There are some significant differences between them all.
