The secret about "The Secret" is that it's no secret. No, I'm not being cute with a play on words. Basically, the secret is that whatever we think manifests itself in our lives. It is called the "law of attraction." I am sure you have heard about the law of attraction and how it people have used it to turn their lives around. What does this have to do with you? Well, if you've been struggling with your weight -- trying to lose those pounds that make your clothes feel too tight and make you ashamed to look at the mirror, then "The Secret" might be exactly what you need. So far you've used the law of attraction to manifest your favorite pizza, nachos, or whatever your weakness food is that you fantasize about. Our thoughts today become our reality tomorrow. If we allow our thoughts to focus on bad things, then those bad things will enter our lives. We are attracting them to us. If when you think about happiness you think about food, then your experience will be that to be happy you must eat. See, it's not the food that makes you happy. It's your thoughts about the food. So how does this apply to weight loss and a new thinner you? Start attracting a thin new you to yourself. That's right, think about being happy and thin. Think about the good feeling you will have when people give you compliments about your weight loss. Contrast this with the thoughts of a fat person. Usually the fat person will obsess about food, hunger, (or worse) how bad they look or feel. So what is a fat person's reality? More food, more hunger, and bad looks or feelings. Observe the thoughts in your head right now after reading that last paragraph. Come on. Write them down. Force yourself to look at the programming running in your head. Put "The Secret" to work for you. Write down and visualize yourself being thin, feeling fit, and enjoying exercise. Think about how good you are going to feel with your pants or skirt feeling loose. Think about the compliments you will get about your weight loss. Think about how good you are going to feel after you walk 30 minutes on the treadmill. Control your thought and you will control your life. Use the law of attraction to attract the body you want and need.
