The city of Hyderabad has developed extremely over four hundred years. Some of the hotels worth mentioning are Taj Banjara, Taj Krishna, Hotel Manohar etc. One of the recent visitor of Hotel Manohar said, “I was really put off by the recent negative reviews I saw on this site, and nearly cancelled my stay. However, in the event the hotel was very good. The room was comfortable. I would say the British equivalent would be four star. The service was definitely five star plus, with a standard of friendliness and helpfulness which was outstanding.”

There is some budget and economy hotels in the city that are doing a fare job in the hotel industry. Some of them are Hotel Golkonda, Hotel Ashoka, Hotel Nagarjuna, Hotel Baseraa. The people who stayed at these hotels have shared their experiences. A recent visitor from California who spent 2 weeks at Golkonda Hotel said, “We just returned from two weeks in India. We spend a week at the Golkonda Hotel in Hyderabad. The hotel is new and some floors are still under construction. The rooms are delightful with full cable TV and lots of goodies. The bathrooms are good size and clean. There are two restaurants on the main floor. Service is good”.
