Choosing the Right Paving Stone Colors

You have decided to pave your driveway, patio, pool deck or walkway with interlocking paving stones, and have picked out a pattern. You are now ready to choose colors for the paving stones.

Choosing the right colors is one of the most vital components in your paving project. How the colors you select look together, suit your yard and fit with the existing colors of the house will greatly enhance the success of any paving project. Choosing colors that you like seeing together will increase your enjoyment of the paved area.

Before you begin the color selection process, you should think about what effect you would like to achieve with the paving project. Do you want the area to be paved to blend calmly into the surroundings to create a subdued appearance, or do you want the area to appear more vivid and lively?
