Business Cards Design To Impress Your Clients

Your business card printing items are the very first things (and sometimes the only ones) that your prospective clients see. To entice them to know more about your business, they have to rely on your print business cards that represent your personality and the way you do your business.

And not every business card printing design pass muster. There are those that give you confidence that you can do what you set out to do; and still, there are those that just, well, not that convincing.

Often, those business card printing projects that fail have designs and layout that have yet to be desired. A well designed and clean layout almost always leaves your prospective clients with a favorable feeling that you’re someone that they can depend on. Your business cards reflect a business that solves problems.

So how can you make your business card printing project get noticed? Or more appropriately, how can your business card printing pieces send a message of trust and confidence to your target customers?

A Focal Point

A good and well designed business card printing project has its focal point or center that draws your target readers’ attention. You have to create one that would be the center of all your elements in your business card printing project. This is what your target readers will see first.

To be able to do this, you have to use your “white space” efficiently. Your white space should help you balance all the elements found in your business card printing project. Don’t fill up your business cards with too much text that it would feel too dense and heavy for the readers. You need to use your white space effectively.

Also, your logo can also stand as your center of attention. In fact, you can use your logo to draw your reader’s eyes to your business card. Hence, use a logo that is clear, strong and has an overall look that is appealing especially when reduced to the size of your business cards.

Your Color

Your color elements emphasize your main message. Whatever color you decide to integrate in your business card printing highlights the one main idea you want to convey to your target readers.

And although color brings life to your otherwise dull message, you also have to use color sparingly so as to avoid confusing your potential clients. Moreover, make sure that the business card printing color you used will reflect the kind of business you’re in. You wouldn’t want to come out as something ridiculous with your color, would you? I think that neon orange and green would look out of sorts if you’re a funeral director.

Your Fonts

Limit your type of fonts to at least one or two, and use a text size and format that is small and more compact to fit in your business card printing layout. Avoid using capital letters; apply the regular kind of writing instead for easy reading. Also, make sure that your fonts also adhere to your company’s image and personality.

Your Graphic Image

As always, use images and graphics to animate your business card printing pieces. However, don’t use pictures that are too detailed because they would look cloudy and murky when printed at the size of your business cards.

Make an impression with an outstanding business card printing design. Although your business cards are small, they are small enough to make you either a hit or a fail. So invest in your business card printing project and see the difference it will create.
