A Little Imagination and a Camera

You need not know anything about the technical aspect of editing, but can still edit digital images. You may have an imagined how that photo would turn up when you initially took a shot. Sometimes, the image may not reflect your thoughts. You land up in disappointment. Hey! Don't worry your disappointment can work magic. You just point out what all you do not like in the image you have just taken. You just describe how the image should actually look like. Have you. Aah! Now your becoming an editor. The next step is sit at your personal computer and start exploring ways to make the image look like how you want it to be.

Not what you shoot, it is what you show others in your digital photograph that matters. You may want to show something to someone, but the picture may have some features that you don't want them to see, you cannot tear it either. You see editing helps you in such situations.

Image restoration procedures in digital photography is a handy process to liven up you age old family photos. Before you scan your old images and follow traditional process of removing the minute dust particles, if it is wet drying it with a hair blower, or run a few seconds in your micro oven trust it to a professional editor who will use latest editing trends, which has specialized software to do the work for you. No rubbing with cotton, then scan, then edit. There are editing softwares pooled in the market for this purpose.

It is always important to edit your photographs in order. Always start adjusting the light exposure effects and then land up adjusting the red eye effect. See follow this sequence, exposure, color, crop, eliminate red eye! You can work in any order, but a sequential methodology is a safe game for better results.

Well there is a 1-2-3 step for the beginning editor. For example you have shot your favorite pet. How do you edit the picture. Enlarge the pet's image first. If it is on the grass or on the tile, and you feel there are any undesirable objects which you may not want in the picture delete it and patch the place with a copy paste of the surrounding tile or grass. If you plan to take a print out adjust the resolution based on the size of the photo frame and here you goyou have started to edit.

Red eye is something that all of us come across when we take certain snaps. So, you have landed up with a phosphorous glow in your baby's eye. Well don't worry. Primarily there are many camcorders coming with the option of no red eye option, use that before you click. If you have already got a photo with a red eye there are very many options to eliminate it. There are many red eye remover programs that can be downloaded online if you do not have an digital camera with the option of no red eye feature!

Simple patching and color intensity adjustment, image resolution adjustment, increasing the size, decreasing the size of the image, zoom in, zoom out are all the very many options available in digital photography. Editing photographs can be practiced as leisure. A little love for images will keep you long hours editing digital photographs happily.
